Revelation 3:20

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Scripture Insights

In today’s scripture, Jesus extends a personal invitation to intimacy and fellow ship. His knock is a call to relationship—not forceful but persistent, waiting for a willing heart to open the door.

As followers of Christ, we are called to share this invitation with others. When we introduce people to Jesus, we’re helping them recognize his gentle knock. Our role is to plant seeds of truth, trusting that God will work in their hearts. Whether through a kind word, an act of love, or sharing the gospel, we have the privilege of guiding people toward Christ. As we pray for opportunities to reach those around us, let’s remember that it’s not through our efforts alone but by the Holy Spirit that hearts are softened.

Let’s pray for boldness in sharing the gospel, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s leading, and love for those who need to hear. May we always point people to Christ, knowing that his desire is to come in and transform lives.

Today’s Prayer

Lord, help us to reach out with your love and truth. Guide us to those who are ready to hear your voice. May our words and actions reflect your heart, drawing others to open the door to you.
