The world of social media influencers is amazing. These are individuals who have built large followings on social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and X. Some make a good living influencing the opinions and behaviors of their followers.
They are powerful across USA/Canada. Young people in our lives are influenced one way or another by social media influencers.
The good news is that there is a greater power at work. Proverbs 22:6 recognizes the great influence we can have on our children and youth. There is a tremendous power available to us when we partner with the Holy Spirit in the work he is already doing in their lives—shaping them into becoming Christlike disciples.
For fun, I looked up how to become a social media influencer: becoming an influencer involves more than just posting content—it’s about building trust, offering value, and cultivating a consistent personal brand that resonates with a target audience.
Let us not miss our opportunity to become a powerful influencer to the next generation. Let that brand be Becoming Christlike Disciples.
Today’s Prayer
Lord, help us to take advantage of the opportunity you give us to be powerful influencers to our children and youth. As we partner with your Holy Spirit, we believe we can have a significant impact on the next generation becoming Christlike disciples.
